I  have been working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the San Diego area for the last 10 years.  Recently I have completed my doctoral education in Clinical Psychology. I have worked in the community with youth with high risk behaviors, military families, individuals and couples.  I am currently working with adult individuals and  couples.  My specialties are working with those with trauma, military veterans and first responders, substance abuse/addiction, anxiety and depression, life goal setting, and relationship challenges. 

While working with my clients I focus on the whole person, pulling forward your own strengths and wisdom to solve life's challenges. I use solution focused, cognitive behavioral and emotion focused interventions.  I also have seven years experience working with people outdoors in nature.  I practice Nature Based therapy, in addition to typical office based, and you can read more about this unique modality on the "Nature Based" tab above.
